Controversy over school violence against actress Kim So-hye from ‘I.O.I’ has been reactivated. Kim So-hye’s side once again refuted this.
S&P Entertainment announced its official position on the 28th, “We are going to tell you about the part of the appeal decision and the facts related to it.”
Previously, an account that claimed Kim So-hye‘s school violence revealed her/his reasons for non-refusal, “I am embarrassed to publish a statement which is not what I experienced.”
In the reasons for non-refusal, there was a record that Kim So-hye was found to be the perpetrator and received punishment by the school violence committee in 2012.
In response, the agency said, “When Kim So-hye was in her first year of middle school, there was a dispute with another schoolmate due to misunderstanding. It’s true that the school violence committee was held.”
However, they dismissed it as just an argument that started from a simple misunderstanding. “In the middle of the fight, her opponent fell and knelt while the two were holding each other’s hair,” and, ”Because of this, she was investigated as a perpetrator and received the punishment of writing an apology. Both sides have been given the opportunity to apologize to each other officially,” they added. “It’s not true that she continued to engage in school violence.“
Finally, they issued a warning, “We will take active action as usual against false rumors depicting things that have not actually happened at that time.“
