Min Hee-jin’s Lawyer Held Head in Vain as the CEO Dissed HYBE with Profanities
The various remarks, even including profanities, made by Min Hee-jin seem to be giving her lawyer a headache.
On April 25, the press conference of Min Hee-jin regarding the ongoing HYBE-ADOR feud was held, immediately becoming the talk of the town.
Prior to this, HYBE had released a series of incriminating evidence against Min Hee-jin, including leaked messages outlining plans to break away from the conglomerate; discussions regarding BTS’s military service, and seeking legal advice to separate ADOR from HYBE. HYBE also filed a lawsuit against Min Hee-jin.
Throughout the press conference, which lasted over 2 hours, Min Hee-jin made various accusations towards HYBE, even revealing text messages between herself and the HYBE founder Bang Si-hyuk. She also unveiled messages where parents of NewJeans members called HYBE officials “despicable”, and mentioned various unrelated artists such as aespa, BLACKPINK, GFriend, and many more.
As Min Hee-jin’s accusations got more personal, the CEO also started to spew profanities, basically cursing at HYBE. Her lawyer attempted to stop the CEO in vain, and ended up holding his head as he failed.
The moment of this lawyer helplessly holding his head has since become viral on social media.
Indeed, being a lawyer is no easy job, and netizens expressed sympathy for this lawyer.
Specifically, the lawyer had to intervene when Min Hee-jin said, “I am a victim of a slave contract.” Then, when Min Hee-jin triumphantly stated, “I thought my reputation was destroyed, but I still received a bunch of investment offers,” the lawyer had to hurriedly clarify that this “investment” was unrelated to Min Hee-jin’s accusation of wanting to take over ADOR from HYBE Labels.
Additionally, the tense moment when Min Hee-jin reacted to the flashlights at the beginning of the press conference also garnered significant interaction. Appearing at the venue, the “NewJeans” founder revealed a visibly stressed appearance, without makeup, dressed casually. The female CEO, tense from the flashlights, even burst into tears and pleaded, “I’m not a celebrity, so I can’t talk if you keep taking pictures like this.”
However, after calming her nerves, Min Hee-jin began “dissing” HYBE and Bang Si-hyuk for over 2 hours.
