Ahead of her solo debut, BLACKPINK member Jisoo had a fun time on fan community platform Weverse, where she gave hints of her upcoming album.
On March 7th (KST), BLACKPINK Jisoo visited the fan community platform Weverse and answered a lot of questions from fans, at the same time providing a “spoiler” of her upcoming solo debut.
In particular, Jisoo started the conversation by saying, “BLINKs! Thank you for continuing to wait for so long! Finally, we have time to meet, and this feels so real. During the preparation process, I was a bit scared and worried, but thanks to you all, I was able to experience all sorts of things! Hopefully, you will like them! Let’s look forward to March 31st with an excited mood”.
Then, when a fan congratulated her on the solo project, Jisoo said it was unbelievable that she’s preparing for a solo release. The female idol also jokingly said, “I have a lot of worries and am very lonely, so BLINKs should help to fill up this emptiness”.
Jisoo also mentioned that she’s just as excited as the fans, and BLACKPINK members gave her a lot of support.
When asked to spoil the vibe of her upcoming song, Jisoo invoked laughter by replying, “Um… doodoodoong..! tatatatatadak!! Shoooooong… I don’t know, is that it? I don’t even understand what I was typing!”
According to the female idol, she pondered a lot of the two versions of the album, before settling on Red and Black as the versions’ colors. She also selected purple to be the color of the LP since she likes it.
Afterwards, Jisoo also expressed her worries on doing her first solo fansign, and showed a fun concern when a fan said they’d purchase 103 copies of the solo album.
Finally, Jisoo also shared various anecdotes about her current situation, such as how she has been exercising and drinking vitamins, how she’s finally reading the “Harry Potter” series, how she hasn’t had any decent meal during the day, and how she has no plan on dying her hair since she’s pleased with the current color.
The female idol also concluded her Q&A session with fans by saying, “It’s time for me to go! I came to say hi with a heart that’s as bright as spring. Let’s wait for my album together and I will visit again! Have a great time in March! I love you.”
