HYBE are Deleting Posts That Show Support for Min Hee-jin, Media Manipulation?

As a large number of Koreans side with Min Hee-jin, HYBE is now allegedly manipulating the media by deleting posts.

Previously on April 25, CEO Min Hee-jin of NewJeans’ agency – ADOR, held a press conference to clarify accusations surrounding herself, at the same time airing her grievances against HYBE’s multiple wrong-doings.

While a lot of Min Hee-jin’s statements sparked mixed reactions, it seems that the majority of Korean are siding with her, judging from polls on Korean platforms and comments on Korean forums.

In fact, a post of the Korean forum “theqoo” has compiled evidence of strong support for Min Hee-jin.

However, as of April 26, various posts showing support for Min Hee-jin started to vanish from forums like Cafe Daum and Pann. These articles mostly show messages of being deleted or regulated by the forums’ administrator, and netizens claim that their posts are being regulated right after writing.

This leads to speculation that HYBE is paying the forums to stop the voice of Min Hee-jin’s supporters in an attempt to manipulate the media.

Seeing this, a lot of netizens are criticizing HYBE, saying that they never spent so much efforts when it’s the artists that’s getting smeared and dragged.
