Korean Netizens are Siding with Min Hee-jin after Press Conference 

On April 25, the CEO of NewJeans’ agency ADOR, Min Hee-jin, held a press conference to address recent accusations surrounding herself. 

Here, the CEO called out various instances of wrong-doings from HYBE, unveils personal text messages with Bang Si-hyuk, and claimed that NewJeans members and their parents have shown support for her. 

Following this press conference, various polls have been held on Korean forums and platforms, where netizens are asked to pick who they are siding with: Min Hee-jin or HYBE. So far, Min Hee-jin seems to be receiving stronger support, as compiled by an article on “theqoo”.

Below are some comments from Korean netizens, who are siding with Min Hee-jin after her “emotional” press conference: 

• I watched the whole thing live. She’s just sincere. She’s not influenced by power or similar things, just speaks her mind. She’s infinitely sincere with NewJeans.
• I understand why NewJeans’ real parents are standing by this “fake” mother now. Her so-called maternal love cannot be explained.
• Mr. Bang is really petty. It’s because Min Hee-jin’s company is doing better, so he’s jealous.
• If she can act like this for 2 and a half hours, she’ll probably win the Oscar for Best Actress. This isn’t acting, it’s sincerity
• The more I watch, the more I see that she’s just an office worker… No wonder I felt strange from the beginning when I heard about someone holding less than 20% of the shares intending to take over management rights. Now looking back, I see she’s just a mentally drained worker being tossed around by the company.
• I understand how unfairly Min Hee-jin has been treated.
