On January 3rd, the children’s welfare organization, Green Umbrella, announced that Chungha donated 50 million won to support medical expenses for underprivileged children.
Chungha, a member of the high-donation Green Noble Club of Green Umbrella, has been contributing to children’s causes since 2019, starting with support for medical expenses for sick children.
This donation will be utilized through Green Umbrella to cover surgery expenses for congenital cleft palate correction, facial correction due to knee cancer, and other high-cost medical treatments for children facing financial difficulties.
Last year, to celebrate her birthday, Chungha made a donation for children under her fan club name “Byulharang.” This year, she has once again engaged in charity for children facing economic challenges and health difficulties due to illnesses.
Regarding this donation, Chungha expressed, “I hope to provide strength to children and families who are exhausted physically and emotionally due to repeated treatments. I wish for the children to recover quickly both physically and mentally and grow up healthy.”
