“The Glory” Kim Hieora revealed how her body deteriorated to play drug addict Lee Sa Ra

Actress Kim Hieora answered questions from netizens ahead of the release of Part 2 of Netflix series “The Glory”.

On March 9th, a video titled “Lee Sa Ra repented and came back? “The Glory 2” Kim Hieora QnA Interview” was published on the official YouTube channel of Allure Korea.

Here, when asked what outrageous thing she has tried for “The Glory”, Kim Hieora answered, “Sa Ra herself is not a person who lives with a will like Yeon Jin or Hye Keong, but a person who lives out of obligation and is addicted to drugs. Kim Hieora also explained, “When I investigated such people, their bodies were very thin and their usual posture and body shape were bent or curved. Originally, I was exercising, but in order to build a body like a drug addict, I reduced my exercise and water intake. However, my posture and body shape has really deteriorated.” he explained.

Then, a netizen inquired about Kim Hieora’s match rate with Lee Sa Ra, to which the actress laughed and said, “Half-and-half, 50%.”

“Because I don’t do drugs”, Kim Hieora also explained, adding, “I have a strong will to live, but that’s not the case for Lee Sa Ra.”

Finally, Kim Hieora was asked if she actually drew in “The Glory” since she’s good at painting. In response, the actress said, “This is half and half. The director asked me to draw a picture, however, it was too detailed for the director, so he asked if I can do just a simple base piece.”

She also promised to show the works she has done to fans later, when there is an exhibition or other opportunity.

Kim Hieora debuted as a musical actress in 2009, and has since starred in various dramas such as “Bad and Crazy”, “Extraordinary Attorney Woo”, and “Bad Prosecutor”. In “The Glory”, Kim Hieora assumes the role of Lee Sa Ra, a painter who has a habit of smoking drugs.

On the other hand, Part 2 of “The Glory” will be aired on Netflix on March 10th.
