Choi Ye-na shows off IZ*ONE’s friendship: “All the members congratulated me just now”
Singer Choi Ye-na expressed her special affection towards IZ*ONE members.
Choi Ye-na held an online showcase to commemorate the release of her first mini-album “SMiLEY” at 5 p.m. on Jan 17th. On this day, Choi Ye-na said, “I thought I wouldn’t be nervous, but I’m so nervous right now. I think it’s my long-awaited dream as well as a moment that fans have been waiting for a lot. I just want to show you the performance quickly.”
Her first solo album was released nine months after IZ*ONE‘s official disbandment on Apr 29th last year. Regarding this, IZ*ONE members also spared no support. Choi Ye-na boasted IZ*ONE’s strong friendship, “I have been in constant contact with the members even after IZ*ONE’s disbandment. Actually, just now, the members sent me a message in the group chat room saying ‘Congratulations on your debut, Yena.’ I was very happy to think ‘I’m being loved.’ Every single one of them congratulated me.”
Choi Ye-na’s first mini-album “SMiLEY” is an album full of Choi Ye-na’s happy energy and charms. All songs were released through various music sites at 6 p.m. on the same day.
