Lee Do Hyun is among the most remarkable Korean actors of the new generation.
Lee Do Hyun was born in 1995 with the real name Lim Dong Hyun. He made his acting debut in the 2017 drama “Prison Playbook”, before gaining popularity with a minor role in “Hotel Del Luna” and exploding as the male lead of hit drama “18 Again”.
In 2020, Lee Do Hyun achieved global recognition via the Netflix series “Sweet Home”, before delivering an impressive performance in “Youth of May”, where he co-starred alongside actress Go Min Si.
Among actors of the same generation, Lee Do Hyun is highly praised for his extensive acting range, going from melodramas, webcomic adaptations, historical series, to various other genres. Lee Do Hyun previously confirmed his appearance in “The Glory”, a K-drama written by Kim Eun Suk, the screenwriter behind “Descendants Of The Sun”. The series is produced by Netflix and stars famous actress Song Hye Kyo, and so already received a lot of attention prior to its release. Netizens have also been discussing if Lee Do Hyun and Song Hye Kyo will be able to overcome their 14 years old age gap to deliver a convincing performance.
“The Glory” revolves around a woman whose dream was crushed after suffering from serious bullying as a child. Now, she is working as a school teacher, and has carefully prepared to pay back people that hurt her in the past.
