Singer-rapper Lee Young Ji went viral with her self-cam video at Waterbomb festival.

However, her pretty appearance only lasted for a while. In the next Story, Lee Young Ji uploaded a video showing herself struggling with water splashes from the audience during the performance and added the caption, “Waterbomb Singer’s View”. She couldn’t open her eyes properly as people around kept shooting her with the water guns.

From the videos, countless audiences were seen showering Lee Young Ji on the stage with water. She even had to close her eyes tightly when the water splashes touched her face and eyes.

Despite the situation, the female singer proved her professional side by continuing the performance and hyping the crowd even when she could barely open her eyes.

Meanwhile, Waterbomb is the largest water-themed music festival in Korea. It provides a variety of music performances and an opportunity for everyone to get soaked in refreshing water.

However, sometimes controversies arose when artists who joined the performer lineup complained of damage caused by excessive water splashes from the audience.

Last year, (G)I-DLE member Shuhua became the target of intense water gun attacks when performing with contact lenses in her eyes. Later, through a Naver V Live, she confessed, “Who shot water at my face? I tried to open my eyes while avoiding the water, but I couldn’t see anyone for 30 seconds. Didn’t I tell you to not cross the line? I hope we don’t bump into each other on the street.”

Other artists, such as Jessi and Simon Dominic, also faced unfortunate situations when they couldn’t continue singing because the audiences kept shooting water at their faces.
