3rd Gen Female Idol Retires to Marry 15–Year-Older Businessman
A member of a 3rd generation girl group recently announced both her marriage and retirement from the entertainment industry.
According to the music industry on April 26, member Sohee (real name Kim So-hee) of 3rd gen girl group ALICE is getting married to a businessman who is 15 years older.
Sohee’s agency, OK Company, stated to Seoul Economy Star, “Sohee’s exclusive contract expires next week,” revealing that the female idol has decided to retire from the entertainment industry along with her marriage.
However, regarding other ALICE members, they stated, “Each member has a different remaining period on their exclusive contracts. They are managing their individual schedules and plan to discuss future directions gradually,” adding, “The members are congratulating Sohee on her marriage.”
Born in 1999, Sohee gained recognition after finishing as the runner-up on SBS’s “K-Pop Star 6 – The Last Chance” in 2016. She debuted with ALICE the same year and appeared in the TVING series “Duty After School” last year.
