The team of KBS Joy’s “My Own Package Season 2: Pick Me Trip in Bali” has run into trouble at their filming location in Bali.

In particular, according to a report by Sports TV News on April 26, the production team of KBS Joy’s new variety show “My Own Package Season 2: Pick Me Trip in Bali” was caught engaging in so-called “unauthorized filming” without obtaining permission from the authorities in Bali.

The “Pick Me Trip in Bali” team entered Bali on the 21st and was scheduled to return on the 25th. However, it was revealed that the production team had conducted filming without prior permission, causing problems and blocking their return journey.

Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon, Apink’s Bomi, broadcaster Choi Hee, former IOI member and actress Lim Na-young, Secret Number’s Dita, and around 30 staff members had their passports confiscated and are detained in Bali. They are currently staying at a hotel, undergoing investigation by the Bali authorities, and are expected to return to Korea sometime early next week after the investigation concludes.

The cast members who had scheduled activities in Korea are urgently adjusting their schedules and making follow-up arrangements.

One insider told Sports TV News, “Even the cast members themselves do not know the exact reason for their detention in Bali. It’s frustrating that the production team is not sharing the situation accurately.”
