Yoona boasted her 15-year dancing career on the set of “Big Mouth”.
On August 11th, a behind-the-scenes video of Yoona during the filming of MBC’s drama “Big Mouth” was posted on her YouTube channel “Yoona’s So Wonderful Day”.
In the released video, Yoona is shown practicing to lead a marching band for a scene in the drama. Her hands got red as she kept practicing with the stick. She said, “I have a bruise here. When you spin the baton, this part hurts so much.”
As time passed, Yoona got used to the moves. Exhausted because of practicing, Yoona said, “Rome wasn’t built in a day. I’ve lost all my energy after this. You need a lot of muscle power.” Yoona continued to show her hard work as she practiced until dark to get synchronized.
At the filming set for the scene of Yoona’s character Mi Ho in her marching band at high school, Yoona expressed her confidence because of her 15-year dancing experience as an idol. She said while laughing, “I’m sure my dancing career won’t go anywhere. I have my experience for all the years. If it doesn’t show here, isn’t that a bit of a problem?”
She added, “I hope people who’ve actually been in a marching band watch me and think ‘Nice’ and ‘She did quite well’. I want to do well.”
Before filming started, Yoona put on her gloves and said, “It’s smooth. This might make me swing the stick better.” Yoona eventually impressed by perfectly pulling off the scene.
