BIGBANG G-Dragon has finally acknowledged the existence of JJiDi.
On June 18th, BIGBANG G-Dragon shared a photo on his Instagram story of JiDi and Jo Se Ho together, using various emoticons to express his surprise.
In another photo that G-Dragon shared, he posted an image of JiDi and Jo Se Ho, adding the hashtags “School bell goes ring-ring-ring, gathering” and “JJin-Dragon (t/n: Real Dragon) at night.”
JJiDi is a satirical character performed by comedian Choi Ji Yong imitating G-Dragon. JJiDi, who exaggerates G-Dragon’s manner of speaking, gestures, and actions, has gained popularity on social media and YouTube.
In particular, a video of JJiDi imitating G-Dragon’s style while singing the children’s song “School Bell” goes viral. The lyrics to “School Bell” mentioned by G-Dragon in his story seem to have been imitated in JJiDi’s style.
When G-Dragon posted content related to JJiDi, Korean netizens expressed their surprise. This is because not only did he acknowledge the existence of JJiDi but also showed his participation in satire.
G-Dragon recently participated in the satire trend surrounding him by tagging himself with the phrase ‘게쪄그래용’ (“gejjeo-geuraeyong”), which parodies his hit song “Crayon,” on a restaurant sign.
Meanwhile, G-Dragon, after ending his exclusive contract with YG Entertainment, is currently preparing an album.
