ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin “I didn’t expect HYBE to overthrow me in such an explosive way”
CEO Min Hee-jin of ADOR, which is under suspicion of attempting to seize control of the management rights of its parent company HYBE, revealed her feelings
During an emergency press conference held on April 25th at the Korea Conference Center in Seocho-gu, Seoul, CEO Min met with reporters and said, “This is the first time I’ve been attacked in such a short period of time. I even thought, ‘Do they all wish for my death?’ and ‘Would everyone be happy if I suddenly died?’“
She continued, “I didn’t expect HYBE to overthrow me in such an explosive way. I did anticipate that they would surveil me even to the extent of invading my KakaoTalk messages and try to kill me, but I didn’t know it would be this severe. I lived in hell for a day or two.”
She added, “HYBE has listed various things that are advantageous to them. From my perspective, they are all false facts. They have portrayed me to people who don’t know me in a strange way. I wonder why they can make a person seem so strange and go to such lengths.”
Earlier, HYBE announced that Min Hee-jin had attempted to seize control of HYBE’s management rights along with the management, prompting an audit. According to the audit result, HYBE confirmed specific facts and secured physical evidence proving ADOR’s plan to take over management rights under the leadership of CEO Min Hee-jin. Based on the data, HYBE plans to file a complaint against the people involved on charges of breach of trust.
