On July 15, it was reported that Seo Ji Yeon’s former gym director, Mr. A, had brought charges against her, based on complaints about the false accusations. In the past, Seo Ji Yeon accused Mr. A of committing sexual assault and brought a lawsuit against him based on the allegations.
Following the police investigation, however, Mr. A was declared not guilty and was released from Seo Ji Yeon’s charges. After being cleared by the police, Mr. A sued Seo Ji Yeon to collect damages and prove his innocence. Seo Ji Yeon was a household name for being one of the youngest professional MMA fighters. At 18 years old she made her first appearance and was the youngest Philippine URCC Women’s Flyweight Champion of 2018.
The MMA fighter also became famous for her appearance on Channel E’s Sportsy Sisters. The now 20-year-old impressed viewers with her fighting abilities during her time on the variety show, however she was able to attract even more attention after it was revealed that she was connected to BTS’s RM. We’re hoping the case is completed in a fair manner even though very little details have been made available.
