BLACKPINK’s Jennie Enjoys Sydney Zoo and Meets Her Favorite Capybaras in New Vlog

BLACKPINK Jennie shared her trip to Sydney outside of her schedules

On October 1st, BLACKPINK’s Jennie posted a video on her YouTube channel, ‘Jennierubyjane Official,’ titled ‘Sydney vlog.’

In the video, Jennie visited Taronga Zoo in Sydney, Australia. Jennie expressed her excitement, “Today, I can see capybaras,” and first headed to see koalas. With her cute double ponytails, Jennie spent a joyful time seeing various animals.

Next, Jennie went to meet her favorite animal, the capybara. She couldn’t see them at first, but when she finally spotted a capybara, she quickly took photos. After greeting the capybaras with words like “Capybaras are sleeping” and “I’m sad,” Jennie left the zoo.

Continuing her journey, Jennie enjoyed her time under the sun, taking in magnificent views from Gap Park to the Blue Mountains. Some time later, she was seen running up a mountain trail, trying to catch the sunset before it disappeared. While admiring Sydney’s beautiful sky, Jennie found solace.

It’s well-known that Jennie has a soft spot for capybaras. When she appeared on JTBC’s ‘Knowing Bros’ in 2020, she said, “I love all animals. Capybaras have good social skills. Among all animals, capybaras have the best social skills, so all animals gather around them. I’ve loved capybaras since I was young, so I asked the director to include them in our recent music video. The keeper brought them, and we appeared in the same scene together,” revealing the behind-the-scenes story of BLACKPINK’s ‘Ice Cream’ music video.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is currently in the middle of discussions for a new contract with YG Entertainment. On September 17th, they held an encore concert for their world tour ‘Born Pink’ at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.
