Known as “SEVENTEEN’s younger brother” since before their debut, Pledis Entertainment’s new boy group TWS revealed an anecdote with SEVENTEEN in a video content on the YouTube channel “MMTG” last month.
When asked if Pledis seniors take good care of them, TWS said, “SEVENTEEN seniors have all given their cards to us. They also bought us expensive beef. Senior Hoshi wanted us to wear good shoes when practicing so he bought each of us a pair of shoes”.
Member Kyung-min shared, “I have a special memory. I received expensive gifts on my birthday. Senior S.Coups bought me an iPad and senior Bumzu gave me a MacBook and AirPods Max. Senior Baekho bought me an Apple Watch. I was so grateful. I got a full set”. Member Shinyu added, “Senior Bumzu bought me a phone. I felt like he really cared and loved me.”
aespa’s Karina drew attention with the story she told in a “Salon Drip” video released on the YouTube channel “TEO” on February 6th. The aespa member confessed that she paid a meal for fans she met at a lamb restaurant during her trip to Sapporo, Japan.
Karina said, “Two Korean women I met on the train recognized me and they were talking among themselves. I pretended not to know that for an hour because it was weird if I approached them and said, ‘Let’s take a picture’. We were standing near to each other so I could hear them talking, like ‘Isn’t she Karina?’, ‘Shall I send a DM?’, etc. We took a photo together later”.
The next day, Karina went to a lamb restaurant with a friend, and the two fans were eating at the table in front of her. Karina shared, “It was such a special encounter so I paid the meal for them. I also asked the restaurant to throw away the receipt because I was afraid that the fans would feel sorry”.
When Kim Gu-ra said, “I heard you received a gift from Song Joong-ki, your co-star in ‘Hwaran’”, BIBI replied, “He bought me the latest mobile phone. He just bought it for me and Hong Xa-bin, who is currently serving in the military. We were just saying, ‘This phone has just been released’, among ourselves then he (Song Joong-ki) said, ‘Just order it’, and sent us the money”.
