IVE’s Rei appointed as Japanese teacher “Serious mode activated” (My Favorite Teacher)
IVE's Rei will be appointed as the Japanese teacher for episode 5 of ootb's "My Favorite Teacher"
In each episode of the program, star teachers with outstanding expertise visit middle and high schools to teach various subjects. Rei, known for her passion, confidence and unique educational philosophy, will make a remarkable appearance in the upcoming episode, which will be released on May 2nd on the “9700 STUDIO” YouTube channel.
Rei expresses her determination, “Even though the wind is cold and the rain is pouring, my heart is clear, so I will energetically deliver that strength to the students.” She reveals that she prepared for her role by studying the previous episodes featuring NCT DREAM’s Jaemin and MONSTA X’s I.M.
When assigned the subject of “Japanese”, Rei, who is actually from Japan, recalls teaching Japanese to her fellow IVE members. She shares her language learning method of continuous repetition to quickly improve proficiency, showcasing her role as “IVE’s Japanese teacher”. During the class, Rei impressively introduces herself in Japanese and explains Japanese school culture, displaying the dignity of a passionate teacher. The students are both in awe and fully focused on her class.
Furthermore, during 1:1 personal teaching consultations, Rei provides tailored solutions with sincerity to students facing various concerns, such as sibling conflicts and low self-esteem. After the class, students surprise Rei with a heartfelt event. Rei’s Japanese class, filled with excitement and emotion, will be available in episode 5 of “My Favorite Teacher”, which will be released on May 2nd at 5 PM.
“My Favorite Teacher” is an entertainment program where beloved teachers engage in one-day teaching sessions and one-on-one counseling with students, addressing their inner thoughts and concerns. Previous episodes featuring NCT DREAM’s Jaemin, MONSTA X’s I.M and (G)I-DLE’s Minnie as teachers received enthusiastic responses. “My Favorite Teacher” is released every Thursday at 5 PM on ootb’s new YouTube channel “9700 STUDIO”.
