On the 23rd, YG Entertainment announced that the music video for BLACKPINK’s OST song ‘THE GIRLS’ will be released today at 1:00 PM in the virtual space of ‘BLACKPINK WORLD’ within the game ‘BLACKPINK THE GAME.’
‘THE GIRLS’ is an OST song for ‘BLACKPINK THE GAME,’ released in May, with production involvement from producers Ryan Tedder, Danny Chung, and members Jennie and Rosé.
In this music video, the unique vocal harmony of the members unfolds over a rhythmic and powerful sound, along with a stage setup featuring avatars directly participated by YGX Lee Jung dance team and the members.
This special content experience within the game is expected to enhance communication between global BLINKs by engaging them with BLACKPINK’s IP.
YG Entertainment plans to amplify this atmosphere through various activities, including the ‘BLACKPINK THE GAME OST Celebration Party’ video, where BLACKPINK members perform missions, and the pre-order for the ‘THE GIRLS’ OST package set to be released on the 25th.
