“Cleaning Up” Jeon So-min, “Stock investment doesn’t match me. If you do it intuitively like me, you will fail”
Actors of drama “Cleaning Up” expressed their opinions on stock investment.
On June 2nd, the online press conference for JTBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama “Cleaning Up” was held with the attendance of actors Yeom Jung-ah, Jeon So-min, Kim Jae-hwa, Lee Moo-saeng, Na In-woo, and director Yoon Seong-sik.
Since this is a drama set in the background of a securities company, the actors also spent time revealing their personal thoughts on stock investment. Playing the role of Ahn In-kyung, who dreams of starting a mobile coffee business in a food truck, Jeon So-min said, “Stock doesn’t match me. We need to know when to put in money and when to withdraw money. If we miss the timing, it would fall to the floor”, adding, “I had to give up my greed and study a lot but I have only been doing it by instinct. Everyone, I hope you will think carefully before deciding to invest in stocks”.
Upon hearing Jeon So-min’s story, Lee Moo-saeng said he studied stock investment through dramas and introduced some tips, saying “First of all, you should start with a small amount of capital. Above all, you need to believe in your favorite field. Rather than being too stressed out, you should be more relaxed then good results will come.”
Jeon So-min is currently the regular cast of several entertainment programs, such as SBS’s “Running Man” and tvN’s “Sixth Sense”. Regarding her feelings about doing several shows at the same time, Jeon So-min said, “I’m happy with that. I feel happy when having many works to do”, adding, “I have transition time between schedules. After finishing show broadcasts, I spend the rest of my time on the drama filming set. There were times when I felt mentally tired but I’m steadily building my own know-how.”
Meanwhile, “Cleaning Up” tells about three sisters who take the challenge to change their life unpredictably by entering the insider trading stock war at a securities company after accidentally overhearing a piece of financial information. This work is made by the collaboration of director Yoon Seong-sik (“Hwarang”, “Bridal Mask”) and screenwriter Choi Kyung-mi of “Return”. The first episode will air at 10:30 p.m on the 4th of June as a follow-up drama to “My Liberation Notes”.
