Red Velvet is gearing up for a powerful comeback and is set to showcase a “bright tragedy” through their new song
Red Velvet will release their 3rd full-length album “Chill Kill” on various music sites at 6 PM on Nov 13th. This marks their first full-length album release in about 6 years.
The album will include a total of 10 songs in various genres, including the title track “Chill Kill”. Red Velvet is expected to present an even richer musical palette.
The title track “Chill Kill” is a new combination with the meaning of “an event or existence that breaks the silence“. It is a pop dance track.
The lyrics are also something to look forward to. The song portrays the narrative of a love story turned upside down due to the unexpected arrival of “Chill Kill”, breaking the silence of one’s world.
The lyrics feature a duality, expressing hope while aggressively pursuing the other person in the midst of tragedy. The vocal performance changes diversely according to the emotions conveyed by the “bright tragedy“.
On Oct 27th, Red Velvet released teaser images for their upcoming album. These images showcased the members’ classical yet refined visuals. A unique aura and sophisticated atmosphere were added.
Meanwhile, Red Velvet will release “Chill Kill” on various music sites on Nov 13th. Pre-orders for “Chill Kill” are currently available at various online and offline album stores.
