Actor Kim Seon Ho will finally present his long-awaited first movie.
Kim Seon Ho’s screen debut film “The Childe (directed by Park Hoon Jung)” will be unveiled at a press preview at COEX Megabox, Seoul on the afternoon of June 8th.
“The Childe” tells about various forces, including a mysterious man named “Nobleman” (Kim Seon Ho), appearing in front of boxing player Marco (Kang Tae Joo), who wanders around illegal boxing stadiums in the Philippines, with different purposes and chasing him madly. It is drawing attention as Kim Seon Ho’s first film and a new film by director Park Hoon Jung, who has built his own directing style and worldview through “New World”, “The Witch” and “Night in Paradise”.
In particular, “The Childe” is a full-fledged return of Kim Seon Ho, who temporarily left the public’s side due to controversy over his private life. Kim Seon Ho’s shoulders are heavier than ever, from his screen debut to his unconventional transformation of challenging the noir genre.

At the previous press conference, director Park Hoon Jung praised, “There was no alternative. In the process of writing the scenario for ‘The Childe’, I drew Nobleman as a cold-hearted, cool-headed, brutal, eccentric and charming character with his own humor. I found a face that fits Nobleman from Kim Seon Ho’s face.”
Kim Seon Ho shared his thoughts, “There’s excitement and anticipation to show a new side of myself. On the other hand, there’s also fear and concern. But I had a lot of fun while working on ‘The Childe’. The joy of challenging a new field and accomplishing it was indescribable. I did my best for the role of Nobleman.“
