Top 5 Kpop groups have the most followers on TikTok: BLACKPINK is only at 2nd, so who occupies the top 1?

BLACKPINK currently has more than 27 million followers on TikTok.

TikTok is the most used short video application today, and in order to increase the popularity of their idols, more and more Kpop entertainment companies are creating accounts on it.  With short videos of tens of millions of views, Kpop artists also own a huge number of followers on this social networking platform, and here are the top 5 Kpop groups with the most followers on TikTok. 

1. BTS – 43,7M followers

BTS is a 7-member K-pop boy band owned and managed by Big Hit Music.  The members include RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook.  They have been sharing their choreography on the TikTok platform for over a year now.  Not too long ago, they shared a dance video of their Dynamite hit and did their own TikTok challenge.

Besides, the group’s member – Jungkook also holds the record for the most viewed hashtag on TikTok even though he doesn’t have his own account.  BTS fans have been sharing a huge amount of videos of Jungkook by their own accounts. His hashtag has received over 50 billion views to date.

2. BLACKPINK – 27,1M followers

BLACKPINK is a 4-member K-pop girl group managed by YG Entertainment.  The group opened a TikTok account in early 2018, and has recently surpassed 27 million followers.

3. TXT – 12.7M followers

TXT is a 5-member K-pop boy band owned and managed by Big Hit Music.  The members include Soobin, Beomgyu, Hueningkai, Yeonjun, and Taehyun.  TXT also collaborated with Cosmopolitan to perform viral TikTok dance challenges.  In addition, TXT has successfully conducted a Valentine’s Day campaign on TikTok with the hashtag #BeMyValentine, where each member prepares gifts for fans.  Fans had to search for TXT on TikTok to unlock all the Valentine’s Day surprises created by the BigHit boys.

4. TWICE – 12,3M followers

TWICE is a 9-member K-pop girl group.  They are owned and managed by JYP Entertainment.  The members include Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Sana, Dahyun, Tzuyu, Jihyo, Momo, Mina and Chaeyoung.  TWICE teamed up with Cosmopolitan to perform viral TikTok dance challenges. 

5. ENHYPEN – 9M followers

ENHYPEN is a 7-member rookie group, debuted on November 30, 2020 under BE:LIFT LAB, a company founded by CJ E&M and Big Hit Entertainment.  ENHYPEN attracted the attention of the Kpop fan community because it was created from the survival TV show I-LAND that aired in mid-2020.
