Kim Da-eun’s father poured out his heart about controversy over “Street Dance Girls Fighter” KLWC’s bad manners

While team KLWC of Mnet’s “Street Dance Girls Fighter” is being criticized for their poor manners, member Kim Da-eun’s father expressed his position in this regard.

On December 28th, Mnet’s “Street Dance Girls Fighter” aired the scene in which team Squid and team KLWC performed “choreography trade” for the “KPOP choreography creation” mission. Unlike Squid, who competed fairly and seriously, KLWC showed their mischievous and playful attitude through actions such as creating a ridiculous crab dance.

Amidst the pouring of malicious comments, KLWC Kim Da-eun‘s father shared his thoughts through the YouTube channel “KLWC ♡ TORI Kim Da-eun” on December 29th. Kim Da-eun’s father said, “She’s done a lot of stage performances, but it’s her first time doing something like a broadcast contest, so I think she may have lacked awareness of the broadcast rules. Looking at our children, we always think they are immature regardless of the fact that they’re in their 20s, 30s or even 40s. Da-eun is still a teenager. She’s still young enough to make mistakes and taste failure. I just hope this incident doesn’t leave any deep scars. I really appreciate your concerns.”

He also complained about the hardships of appearing in “Street Dance Girls Fighter”, “Each of them lives in a different region, so it’s difficult to digest the tight filming. It’s hard for young girls to find accommodation and practice rooms in Seoul no matter how much their parents help. They shed tears many times. However, they’re working hard because there’s a broadcasting space where they can show off their street dance skills.”
