HyunA, who is in a public relationship with Yong Jun-hyung, returns with a more sophisticated music style
On April 25th, the agency AT AREA revealed a sampler video of HyunA’s new EP “Attitude” through official SNS, showcasing snippets of all the tracks.
The title track “Q&A”, co-produced by GroovyRoom and LDN Noise, best represents the color of this album. It’s a pop genre song that harmoniously blends UK Garage and house sounds, with addictive drop sections highlighting HyunA’s refreshing voice.
Track 1 “Attitude” is a song that was pre-released in the AT AREA joining performance video last November. It’s house-based Voguing music that showcases HyunA’s unchanging “Dancing Queen” aspect and evolved confidence.
Track 3 “Ah!” showcases HyunA’s unique charm with a combination of R&B synth and rhythmic drums. Produced by prominent producers in the hip-hop and R&B field such as Giriboy and Boycold, it features fellow labelmate R&B artist Gemini, showing AT AREA’s sophisticated color.
Track 4 “RSVP” is a dance song based on Amapiano rhythm that is popular around the world, sampling Uhm Jung-hwa’s “Invitation” with composition by GroovyRoom and featuring prominent hip-hop artist Changmo. The lyrics portray a secretive invitation from HyunA, maximizing her charm by reinterpreting the original song.
HyunA’s EP “Attitude” will be unveiled on May 2nd at 6 PM.
