IVE has a similar concept to EVERGLOW in first fanclub kit: Plagiarism or just coincidence? 

IVE and EVERGLOW are once again involved in plagiarism concerns. 

Recently, after IVE dropped a preview image for their first fanclub kit for DIVE (IVE’s fans), netizens have quickly noticed the concept and visuals look somewhat similar to EVERGLOW’s fanclub kit. 

It can be seen that the two photos have the exact same set from the same pink background, to purple desks and chairs. Although they wear different outfits, IVE and EVERGLOW also share the same highteen concept. 

The reason for this striking resemblance is that both groups were photographed at the same studio. In defense of IVE, fans pointed out that many groups have taken photos and videos at this studio, not just IVE or EVERGLOW. ITZY once came here to shoot 2TZY: Hello 2021. aespa’s Winter and NingNing also appeared at this studio to film a dance cover video for Kick Back. 

Previously, when IVE first debuted, the group was accused of plagiarising EVERGLOW’s introduction hand gesture. As EVERGLOW fans strongly demanded IVE’s greeting hand sign to be changed to respect EVERGLOW, IVE’s agency, Starship Entertainment had to apologize and made the change.
