“The Childe” is a new work by director Park Hoon Jung, who has established himself as an unrivaled “genre film master” in the Korean film industry through “New World”, “Night in Paradise” and “The Witch”.

It is also drawing attention as big screen debut of actor Kim Seon Ho , who received great love not only on the theater stage, but also through hit dramas “Start-Up” and “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha”. In “The Childe”, Kim Seon Ho transforms into a nobleman with polar opposite charms.

The launching visual of “The Childe” attracts attention by capturing the silhouette of the nobleman (Kim Seon Ho) who watches the target leisurely while whistling.

Kim Seon Ho’s character appears in front of Marco (Kang Tae Joo), a boxer who struggles at all costs to raise money, and wreaks havoc around him. It stimulates curiosity about how he became entangled with Marco.

Aside from Kim Seon Ho, rookie Kang Tae Joo – who was selected after beating out 1980 other actors, Kim Kang Woo – who adds stability with skillful acting, and Go Ara – who has shown different charms through various works, will join to unfold an unpredictable development.

Meanwhile, the movie “The Childe” will meet the audience in cinema starting from June.
