An acting genius from Lee Byung-hun’s agency whose popularity exploded after just one drama 

Actor Joo Jong-hyuk, born in 1991, played the role of “Kwon Min-woo” in channel ENA’s “Extraordinary Attorney Woo.”

Actor Joo Jong-hyuk, born in 1991, played the role of “Kwon Min-woo” in channel ENA’s “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” which ended in August, and received rave reviews for perfectly showing both the good and bad sides of his character with his unique acting skills.

Joo Jong-hyuk went to New Zealand to study abroad in his third year of middle school, entered the Aukland University of Technology majoring in hotel management marketing, and reportedly returned to Korea to work as a bartender while attending college and began acting after receiving a customer’s suggestion.

In addition, Joo Jong-hyuk scored the highest score with a competitive rate of 700:1 at an integrated audition for Kakao Entertainment management companies in 2019, making headlines by signing an exclusive contract with BH Entertainment, an agency founded by actor Lee Byung-hun.

Joo Jong-hyuk will appear on SBS entertainment show “My Little Old Boy” on Sep 18th and take on his first entertainment challenge. In a recently released preview video, he asked, “What’s your first impression of the cast?” and said, “I’ve heard people say about how the mothers look better in person. Everyone is so beautiful,” he said, drawing attention.

When Shin Dong-yeop admired, “You’re good at entertainment,” Joo Jong-hyuk said, “This is what Tactician Kwon is like.” Joo Jong-hyuk also said, “Whenever I’m nervous, I hypnotize myself. But today, I’m more comfortable than I thought,” he said, showing a relaxed appearance despite his first appearance on a variety show.
