ILLIT’s Wonhee Was Street Casted at a Bus Terminal and Though it Was a Scam?
Member Wonhee of the rookie girl group ILLIT shares the behind-the-scenes story of her casting during high school.
According to JTBC on May 24, girl group ILLIT, who received a lot of love with their debut song “Magnetic” released this March, will appear as guests on the May 25 episode of JTBC variety program “Knowing Bros”. In this episode, the girl group will roam around Hwaseong city with the cast members to enjoy a spring picnic.
It is teased that during filming, when asked about how she was casted, ILLIT’s Wonhee answered, “I was street casted at a bus terminal when I was in 10th grade. At first, I suspected it was a scam”.
Additionally, as a rookie group in their second month of debut, ILLIT received tips for longevity from Super Junior members Kim Hee-chul and Shindong, known as members of the representative long-lasting group.
Later on, when asked, “What is your ultimate goal?”, ILLIT expressed their rookie determination, saying, “We hope that in the distant future, we can think ‘It was great to be in ILLIT,’ and we want our fans to also feel ‘It was great to be ILLIT fans.'”
