(G)I-DLE’s first comeback after Soojin’s departure has continued to gain impressive results.
(G)I-DLE is currently doing extremely well with their 1st full album I NEVER DIE and the title track TOMBOY released on March 14. Despite facing “digital monsters” on domestic charts such as Taeyeon, IU, and Red Velvet, TOMBOY still scores high ranks, becoming one of the most well-received K-pop songs in the first half of 2022.
Nearly 10 days after its release, earlier today (March 24th), TOMBOY officially climbed to No.1 on all major real-time and daily digital charts, namely MelOn, Genie, Bugs, Vibe, and Flo. TOMBOY also topped both iChart’s real-time and weekly rankings, bringing (G)I-DLE the very first Perfect All-kill of their career. (G)I-DLE also became the only idol group and the second artist after Taeyeon to achieve Perfect All-kill in 2022 up to this point.
Previously, with TOMBOY, (G)I-DLE scored their first Certified All-kill (CAK) and Real-time All-kill (RAK) since their debut in May 2018. In addition, TOMBOY rose to #1 on Spotify Korea chart, #1 Apple Music Korea, #1 YouTube Music Korea, #2 Gaon Digital Chart, and surpassed 1 million Unique Listeners on MelOn.
