Former NCT’s Lucas Opens Official Weverse Fan Club Ahead of Solo Debut
Lucas, 11 months after leaving NCT, is returning as a solo artist.
On March 11, Lucas opens his official fan club on Weverse, sending a welcome message in Korean, Chinese, and English.
Lucas will officially debut as a solo artist in April. SM Entertainment announced on March 11 that he will release his first single, “Renegade,” on April 1st and hold a solo debut ceremony.
This single will include three songs, including the title track “Renegade.”
“Renegade” is a hip-hop song based on rock, expressing a determination to walk one’s own path without hesitation, through changes for a better direction and a strengthened inner self.
Lucas suspended his activities in 2021 due to controversies over his private life and left NCT and NCT’s Chinese unit WayV in May of last year.
