“Dancing Queens on the Road” BoA recalls old memories with her manager, “I often received books as gifts and letters”

Singer BoA revealed an anecdote of when she received a book from her manager in the past.

The June 1st broadcast of tvN’s “Dancing Queens on the Road” showed Kim Wan Sun, Uhm Jung Hwa, Lee Hyo Ri, BoA, Hwasa, and Hong Hyun Hee having their first meal together.

Looking at Hong Hyun Hee, who showed support for her, BoA recalled the past, saying “When I was busy, my managers would memorize all the dance moves and replace me during camera rehearsals”.

Lee Hyo Ri shared, “Managers are truly our best friends. They know everything, do everything, and understand us better than boyfriends.” She jokingly said, “It feels like I was robbed of something when the manager I’ve worked with for over 20 years got married”, drawing laughter.

The stories about managers made the members look back on old memories. Lee Hyo Ri and Kim Wan Sun mentioned the anecdotes about managers, such as cursing at the PD for not giving them Daesang or flying kick and stopping the planes.

Lee Hyo Ri said, “BoA manager always gave her books as gifts. They even wrote letters on blank pages for her”.

BoA confessed, “I read them all.”. She then added, “They said they didn’t like my immature look with short bag straps because I didn’t go to school. They didn’t like me to be treated too young in conversations with adults. But now, they greet me ‘Hello, director’”, confessing her true feelings.
