Son Heung-min is really in a relationship? “We love each other”

When asked in an interview how she balances her identity as an actress, Jun Ji-hyun replied, “The difference between working and not working as an actress is clear. Nevertheless, the switch of being an actress is always on in my heart. When I encounter certain moments in life, I naturally connect with acting by thinking about what emotions I would feel in that situation. Therefore, I cannot simply turn off that switch.”

She once said that she would not be bound by the past or the future because she would be an actress for life. When asked if this sentiment remains unchanged even after some time has passed, she replied, “Yes, it still does. That’s why rather than being bound by the past or the future, I want to show who I am now.”

In response to the question about the most Jun Ji-hyun-like day she could imagine, she said, “Exercising, meeting friends, enjoying delicious food, having dinner with family at home, and choosing a favorite show on OTT to watch before going to bed. That’s the most Jun Ji-hyun-like day for me.”

In an interview that followed the shoot, Son Heung-min was asked if there was ever a moment when he felt like football was a one-sided unrequited love. He replied, “I don’t think there was ever a moment when I felt that football was unrequited love. I’ve thought deeply about this question, and I always cry and laugh because of football. We love each other. (laugh) Even when I’m doing something else at home, I suddenly realize that I’m watching football videos. While driving, I find myself watching kids playing football on the street without even realizing it. Even when talking with my family, it always ends up being about football. Every private moment of mine is connected to football.“

When asked if his past statement “If I retire, I won’t have anything to do with football” still holds true, he replied, “Yes, I think this feeling will never change in my lifetime. It’s a promise to myself and a decision I’ve already made. I love and enjoy football, but not only do I lack the ability to teach others, I also love the moments when I kick the ball myself. Of course, I’ll stay close to football. At that time, I’ll simply be a football fan. (laugh)“

When asked about his current dream, Son Heung-min said, “As a football player, Son Heung-min is very ambitious. It’s just not visible from the outside. I want to win every game, win championships, lift trophies and become a football player who can repay the love I’ve received. Most importantly, I want to be a happy football player. Just like now.“
