The movie “Broker,” which captivated the professionals at the 75th Cannes International Film Festival, will soon be available at home theaters.
CJ ENM announced on July 1st that “Broker” will appear on VOD service and cinema simultaneously from July 4th.
The VOD service of “Broker” can be viewed through various platforms such as IPTV (KT Oleh TV, SK Btv, LG U+ TV), Digital Cable TV (Home Choice), TVING, Naver Series, GomTV, Google Play, ONE STORE, and Kakao Page.
In particular, the lead actor Song Kang-ho even won the “Best Actor Award” at the 75th Cannes International Film Festival, drawing attention around the world.
However, since the public release of “Broker,” the movie has been said to be underwhelming compared to previous works of Hirokazu Koreeda, who has created numerous masterpieces.
“Broker” started at the top of the box office on the first day of its release, but was pushed back to second place in a day due to a series of cold evaluations.
With such lower-than-expected results, “Broker” eventually ranked sixth in the box office rankings on Jun 30th, leaving a regret.
Currently, the cumulative number of audiences for “Broker” is confirmed to be 1,236,011 as of 24 days after its release.
Meanwhile, “Broker” is a movie about the unexpected and special journey of those who have formed relationships around a baby box.
“Broker” drew attention with its sales record in 188 countries around the world after bringing Korea their first “Best Actor” award at the Cannes Film Festival.
