LE SSERAFIM’s Kim Chaewon posts pizza mukbang photos on SNS “Suddenly flooded with ‘negative comments'”

On April 24th, Kim Chaewon shared selfie photos on her personal SNS account, featuring herself eating pizza.

In the photos, Kim Chaewon was biting a slice of pepperoni pizza on a plate. She proudly proved her legendary small face size, which is smaller than a slice of pizza.

In other photos, Kim Chaewon was seen holding an ice cream against the backdrop of a street in the United States. She matched a sleeveless dress with a leather jacket, exuding chic charm.

Although they were ordinary daily life photos, netizens left negative comments on the post, leaving reviews about LE SSERAFIM’s Coachella stage.

Some netizens commented, “Please practice singing instead of eating pizza“, “After being scolded like that, are you still eating pizza?“, “How about learning to reduce the habit of getting cocky?“…

On the other hand, there were also comments praising LE SSERAFIM’s Coachella stage or showing skeptical reactions to the negative comments.

Previously, on April 13th and 20th, LE SSERAFIM performed on the stage of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, the largest music festival in the United States.

On the first stage on April 13th, LE SSERAFIM members were embroiled in controversy due to unstable live skills. In the following stage on April 20th, they showed a relatively improved performance compared to the previous one, but the controversy over their skills did not subside.

To make matters worse, members Kim Chaewon and Sakura left posts on their personal SNS accounts implying satisfaction with their Coachella performances, which further fueled criticism.

At the time, Sakura stated through Weverse, “With our determination, we already delivered the best performance. Our group, which is only in the second year after our debut and has just held a tour once, poured all our efforts for this Coachella performance.”

Kim Chaewon posted a video on her personal SNS account showing a singer on the Coachella stage making a rude gesture with her fingers. Although the post was deleted immediately, some netizens argued that it indirectly responded to the controversy over their skills.

LE SSERAFIM is a five-member multinational girl group under Source Music. They debuted on May 2nd, 2022.
