“Broker” tells the unexpected and special journey of those who are associated with baby boxes. Movie critics gave mixed reviews to the film and heated up the second half of the film festival. However, before the official awards ceremony, the movie already won the Prize of the Ecumenical Jury (a prize awarded to films that show artistic achievements and deeply reflect human existence), raising its chance of winning double awards.

With the collaboration of Cannes’ favorite director Hirokazu Kore-eda and actor Song Kang-ho, the story to which people anywhere around the world can be related has gained a great achievement by getting sold in 171 countries. “Broker”, which made the Best Actor at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, will meet the audience in Korea on June 8th.
