Cho Hyun Ah remarked, “You give up quickly. How far did you learn the piano? Did you reach Czerny No. 30?” Curious, she asked Winter, who replied, “I don’t know. I did forget, but I reached that far.” To this, Cho Hyun Ah inquired, “Could you play with both hands?” Winter confirmed, “Of course. I also participated in competitions. When I was in elementary school. I think I got second place then,” she said, eliciting surprise.

Cho Hyun Ah then asked, “What competition was it? Was it a nationwide competition?” Winter replied, “Yes, it was. I think when I was in first grade of elementary school. I was good at playing the piano back then. I thought I had talent. When I was in kindergarten, I sang songs and played the accompaniment myself,” she revealed.

Continuing the conversation, when Cho Hyun Ah mentioned “prodigy,” Winter responded, “I thought so too. But as I grew older, there were kids who were also really good. So, I got discouraged and stopped.”

Upon hearing this, Cho Hyun Ah asked, “Are there many musicians in your family?” Winter replied, “None at all. Our family is somewhat of a military family. Since we come from a military background, I even considered becoming a soldier, but I still loved singing too much,” explaining the reason for choosing to be an idol.

Cho Hyun Ah then asked, “Did you have any other dreams?” Winter answered, “I had quite a few. I wanted to do community service and be a teacher. A elementary school teacher. Isn’t it healing to see children? I really liked that too.”
