Netizens Call Kim Sae-ron a “Shameless Liar” after “Scandal” with Kim Soo-hyun
The photo with Kim Soo-hyun is far from the only time actress Kim Sae-ron lied or stretched the truth.
Kim Soo-hyun’s agency later denied relationship rumors between the two, stating that the photo was taken when the two were under the same agency and adding that they “do not understand Kim Sae-ron’s intentions behind uploading the photo”.
On the other hand, Kim Sae-ron initially said that she would release a statement on March 25 due to having to “organize her thoughts”. Meanwhile, an alleged acquaintance claimed that the story behind the photo was “complicated”.
However, Kim Sae-ron eventually said that she would no longer make any comment, causing netizens criticizing her for intentionally seeking clout from Kim Soo-hyun – who is enjoying great success with “Queen of Tears”.
At the same time, other netizens called Kim Sae-ron a “shameless liar” and pointed out that this is not the first time Kim Sae-ron has lied or stretched the truth.
In particular, back when she was charged with drunk-driving in 2022, the actress mentioned that she had financial difficulties and had to work part-time jobs to support her family. She also published photos of herself working at a coffee shop and used “financial difficulties” as a reason for appeal during her trial.
However, the company behind the coffee shop franchise that Kim Sae-ron “worked at” later revealed that the actress never worked part-time at any of their stores in the country.
Additionally, claims of “financial difficulties” and “self-reflection” of Kim Sae-ron also roused suspicions, as the actress was spotted holding birthday party and drinking just 1 month after the DUI incident, hiring a lawyer from one of the top 10 law firms in Korea, and going to a pub to play poker.
Later on, Kim Sae-ron made a smiling appearance in a MV, and is allegedly working as an acting instructor.
