On January 9th, the Japanese newspaper Daily Sports reported that Masahiro Higashide has been living in a cabin with three women since 2022. Their home will be revealed on Fuji TV’s “Mezamashi TV 8”.
According to the report, Masahiro Higashide is living a self-sufficient life in a mountain cabin by learning survival skills such as hunting. The women living with Masahiro Higashi are known to be actresses Mado Karasumori, Nari Saito and Karin Matsumoto.
When the production team of “Mezamashi TV 8” expressed their concern about sparking new scandals, Masahiro Higashide said, “People say whatever they want. Whether it’s a man or a woman, isn’t it a good thing if we genuinely like each other as human beings? If we’re worried about scandals, we might not be able to treat each other humanely”.
The actor continued, “I think it would be better if we could live here as normal people. Looking back on when the affair rumor broke out, I think I lost everything that I had been doing for 10 years. Now, I won’t be swayed by others’ words no matter what they say”.
Earlier, Masahiro Higashide married actress Watanabe Ken’s daughter in January 2015 and had twin daughters in 2016 and a son in 2017.
However, the actor and his wife separated from each other in January 2020 when he was embroiled in a rumor of an affair with actress Erika Karata. Masahiro Higashide reported the news of his divorce in July of the same year.
In particular, Masahiro Higashide was harshly criticized for having an affair with Erika Karata because the actress was still a minor back then.
