Go Kyung-pyo Appears With Handsome Visual After Losing Weight & New Haircut, “I Don’t Have Any Other Project”
Actor Go Kyung-pyo amazed everyone with his upgraded visual at the press conference for his new drama “Frankly Speaking”
The press conference for JTBC’s new Wed-Thu drama “Frankly Speaking” took place at a hotel in Sindorim-dong, Seoul on April 30th with the attendance of director Jang Ji-yeon, actors Go Kyung-pyo, Kang Han-na and Joo Jong-hyuk.
“Frankly Speaking” tells about announcer Song Ki-baek (Go Kyung-pyo), who speaks without thinking, meeting passionate entertainment writer On Woo-ju (Kang Han-na). The drama is expected to bring a refreshing experience to viewers with the cast’s visuals, acting, and chemistry.
At the press conference, the MC introduced Go Kyung-pyo, saying the actor returned to his original appearance after losing weight. Appearing with a neat visual, the actor revealed that he had a hime cut the day before, just before the press conference. Go Kyung-pyo said, “I cut the hair that I grew for 6 months to look good at this official event. I’ll pour all my efforts here because I have no scheduled projects other than ‘Frankly Speaking’”.
When asked about the difference between his character this time with his comedy acting in previous work, Go Kyung-pyo said, “I tried to gather the know-how and skills acquired while working on various comedy projects for this one. This is a drama that you can watch without feeling tired. It’s like a sitcom, an interesting drama you can sympathize with”.
Regarding the parts he could relate to while acting, the actor shared, “I don’t have any boss in my daily life. People around me are mostly colleagues, sometimes seniors. There’s no one who obstructs me like a boss. Although I’m already 35 years old, I still find many things cute. Instead of just sympathizing with others, I tried to understand people’s feelings and convey comfort”.
