“Big Mouth” ended by breaking its own record in viewer ratings and buzzworthy index.
On September 20th, MBC announced that “Big Mouth” took 1st place in Good Data’s ranking of most buzzworthy dramas in the 3rd week of September with 28.78%. In particular, “Big Mouth” recorded its highest score yet, increasing by 64.97% compared to the previous week. It also ranked 1st in the ranking of Top 100 most buzzworthy dramas and non-drama as well as overall.
In addition, the cast of “Big Mouth” also entered the ranking of buzzworthy drama actors in the same week. Yoona, ranked 1st, followed by Lee Jong Suk in the 2nd place. Kim Joo Heon took 7th place.
“Big Mouth” premiered on July 29th, and ended on September 17th with its highest average nationwide rating of 13.9% (according to Nielsen Korea). The engaging story, unique setting, good acting, sensuous directing, and the music that heightens the tension combined together have successfully created a fun drama that induces viewers’ “over-immersion”.
