A certain detail is pointed out as “evidence” that V and Jennie have been dating since last year.
Recently, an article titled “BLACKPINK Jennie and BTS V have been dating since 2021” was published on various online communities.
The original poster of said article pointed out that Jennie changed the head of her bed at the beginning of 2022, and uploaded a photo of the new one on February 4th. Meanwhile, in the photo said to be V on Jennie’s bed, the head was the old one. Therefore, V and Jennie must have been in a relationship since before then, they concluded.
Netizens who saw the post also raised their own questions, and most noticeably brought up V accidentally following Jennie last December. Various comments, such as “I think they have been dating since last year”, “Didn’t V accidentally follow Jennie last year?”, “So what are the dating rumors with G-Dragon?”, and “They feel more like an old couple than a new one”, can be found under the post.
In fact, it can be seen that the photo said to be of V in Jennie’s room has a white bed head. Meanwhile, Jennie reportedly changed hers to beige earlier this year. Faced with such “evidence”, some netizens also started to question the rumors of Jennie dating BIGBANG G-Dragon, which arose in February of last year, and expressed their confusion.
Back in December of 2021, V became a hot topic by following Jennie after opening his personal Instagram. The male idol unfollowed Jennie immediately after, and left a message on Weverse, saying, “Is there any way to get rid of this Instagram recommendation? It’s a scary app.” In other words, V indirectly explained that he followed Jennie by mistake because of the recommendation function.
Afterwards, V and Jennie became engulfed in dating rumors when photos presumed to be them on Jeju Island were posted in May. Since then, various photos of the couple have been continuously leaked by a Twitter user.
