Yoo Seung-ho Explains Why He Joined YG, “I felt strange after entering my 30s and wanted to take challenges”

“The Deal” actor Yoo Seung-ho revealed the reason he moved to YG Entertainment

Yoo Seung-ho recently conducted an interview with Star News on October 23rd, ahead of the end of Wavve’s drama “The Deal”. 

During the interview, Yoo Seung-ho talked about his chemistry with his co-stars Yoo Soo-bin and Kim Dong-hwi, how he led other friends as the senior among the three, and his memorable scenes.

“The Deal” is a new genre that Yoo Seung-ho challenged after signing with YG Entertainment. In this regard, he said, “I entered my 30s without many changes so I felt a little strange. As time passed by, I thought I couldn’t do only good roles. As I wanted to do things I haven’t done before, I decided to join YG Entertainment with the goal of facing my opposite self and taking a lot of challenges.”

He added, “Aren’t YG singers known for their strong images? YG is mainly known for their singers but they still have actors. I was curious about the reasons those actors continued to stay in the company. Although YG is quite different from my image, I thought I might discover a different side of myself if I went there. Also, I think the person in charge of managing actors understands me well”
