Surpassing BLACKPINK Jennie, trending idol NewJeans Minji took first place on the girl group’s individual brand reputation rankings chart in February

“NewJeans” girl group member Minji shone with exceptional popularity as she rose to the top of the February girl group individual brand reputation rankings.

According to the big data analysis results of the girl group individual brand reputation rankings for February 2023, announced by the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute on February 19th, NewJeans’ Minji ranked first. Following her, Blackpink’s Jennie ranked second, and Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon ranked third.

NewJeans’ Minji, who ranked first in the girl group individual brand reputation rankings, recorded a brand reputation index of 4,866,970. Her participation index was 1,485,558, media index was 1,233,888, communication index was 790,940, and community index was 1,356,583.

Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute’s Director, Koo Chang-hwan, analyzed Minji’s brand as the top girl group individual brand reputation for February 2023. According to the link analysis, the keywords “appointed, graduated, and innocent” were highly ranked, and the top keywords from the keyword analysis were “Billboard, Seoul City PR Ambassador, and Chanel Ambassador.” In comparison to January’s brand reputation index of 4,899,310, there was a 0.66% decrease to 4,866,970. Detailed analysis showed a 13.07% increase in brand consumption, a 67.10% increase in brand issues, a 1.24% decrease in brand communication, and a 33.70% decrease in brand spread. The positive-negative ratio analysis showed a 90.56% positive ratio.

The brand reputation index for Blackpink’s Jennie, who ranked second, was analyzed as 4,485,463. Her participation index was 73,764, media index was 102,469, communication index was 1,202,889, and community index was 3,106,341. In comparison to last January’s brand reputation index of 4,416,607, there was a 1.56% increase.

The brand reputation index for Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon, who ranked third, was analyzed as 3,825,003. Her participation index was 111,454, media index was 214,124, communication index was 1,995,423, and community index was 1,504,002. In comparison to last January’s brand reputation index of 3,321,078, there was a 15.17% increase.

According to the results of the analysis released by the Korean Corporate Reputation Research Institute on February 19, the 4th place in the individual brand reputation ranking for girl group members went to Hae Rin from NewJeans. Her brand had a participation index of 779,718, media index of 613,478, communication index of 587,223, and community index of 1,645,508, resulting in a brand reputation index of 3,625,927. Compared to last January, her brand reputation increased by 5.04%.

5th place, New Jin’s Hani brand was analyzed with a brand reputation index of 3,511,444, with participation index of 1,032,027, media index of 819,186, communication index of 653,053, and community index of 1,007,177. Compared to January’s brand reputation index of 3,933,448, it decreased by 10.73%.
