Soyou mentions her secret romance with ex-boyfriend, “Both of us are celebrities, we couldn’t ask anyone for help”
Soyou revealed an anecdote of when she was secretly dating her celebrity ex-boyfriend.
Episode 9 of JTBC’s entertainment program “Salty Pawn Shop”, which aired on August 15th, showed Kim Ji Min, Soyou and MC Gree appearing as guests and revealing various stories.
Yoon Jong Shin said, “Kim Ji Min is the only one with an open relationship here. I heard you almost got caught in Kim Joon Ho’s house”, mentioning her boyfriend Kim Joon Ho. In response, Kim Ji Min said, “Kim Joon Ho’s house is like a public house for comedians. They press the password to enter, rest and drink alcohol there even without the owner”, adding “One day, I went in and saw Kim Dae Hee half-naked. We looked at each other and there was a silence”, drawing laughter.
Soyou also received questions about secret relationships. Recalling the past, she shared, “I used to secretly date a celebrity boyfriend and we once went to the Incheon beach. When we decided to go home after talking for a while, our car got stuck in the sand on the beach”, adding “Since both of us are celebrities, we couldn’t ask anyone for help. In the end, my boyfriend used his shoes to dig the sand and I pushed the car.”
Kim Ji Min brought a pair of sneakers to “Salty Pawn Shop” and revealed the story behind it. She said, “Kim Joon Ho received these sneakers from an event. He gave them to me and acted like he bought them himself so I gave the sneakers to my younger brother”. The sneakers actually had the symbol of ‘Busan International Comedy Festival’ and Kim Joon Ho’s name engraved on them. Kim Ji Min also revealed that the most memorable gift she received was a hospital blood pressure monitor.
During the discussion about marriage, Yoon Jong Shin asked, “Do you guys want to get married?”. MC Gree immediately replied, “I want to do it”, while Soyou said, “I have no intention of getting married”. She added, “I actually wanted to get married early. Becoming a good wife and good mother was my dream”.
