The prosecution demanded a three-year imprisonment sentence for Yang Hyun Suk and explained, “Considering the fact that he summoned Han Seo Hee, who was an aspiring girl group trainee, at night and urged her to reverse her statements by saying, ‘Killing you is not a big deal’, this is clearly a fear-inducing harmful act. The crime and the way he committed it were bad. Moreover, he did not acknowledge his crime even then, from the police investigation to the trial process, and showed no sign of self-reflection”.

Yang Hyun Suk was suspected of threatening Han Seo Hee to reverse her statements in order to cover up the investigations into the drug allegations of former iKON member B.I in 2016. However, Yang Hyun Suk denied the charges and explained that he did not threaten Han Seo Hee but was only worried about her. In September last year, B.I was sentenced to 4 years of probation for violating the Narcotics Control Act, such as purchasing cannabis and LSD and administering some of them.
