Photos of Anthony Kwong in a supposed close relationship with the Abby Choi: A relationship turned stale that led to murder 

Anthony Kwong, along with his younger brother and parents, have been arrested as suspects of the murder. 

On February 25th, Abby Choi’s murder investigation arrested four potential suspects, namely Abby Choi’s ex-husband, Alex Kwong, his brother Anthony Kwong and their parents. Among the four suspects, Anthony Kwong and his father are suspected to have committed the murder.

According to The Straits Times, Anthony Kwong is a 31-year-old man, who was personal driver and business partner of Abby Choi. The two were the directors of companies that owned the Bear Bear Snack, a pancake stall that was reportedly involved in a contractual dispute of more than 130.000 Hong Kong dollars (21.7 billion won). 

At first glance, Anthony and Abby Choi had a close relationship. On Anthony’s SNS, there were photos he took with the model and they frequently appeared together in cruise parties. Abby Choi’s current husband, Tam Chuk Kwan, was reported to have been with Anthony and his wife on a trip last year.

According to the media, the cause of murder was the money dispute between the Kwong family and Abby Choi. HK01 reported that, Mr. Kwong, Anthony’s father and Abby Choi’s former father-in-law, was unhappy when Abby decided to sell an apartment worth 72.8 million Hong Kong dollars.

The apartment was in the name of the father but it was the model who paid for it. Hene, in accordance with Hong Kong law, Abby had the rights to sell and receive money from the purchase. Afraid to be out on the street, Kwong’s family were against her selling the apartment and threatened to kill her if she did not provide proper arrangement for the family. 

Anthony Kwong’s social media is receiving a downpour of criticism for his alleged crime. At the moment, Anthony and his family are under arrest and investigation for the murder of Abby Choi.
