Summer 2022 has been filled with masterpiece K-dramas and the greatest line up of K-drama male leads 

In K-dramas, the nice guy often becomes the second male lead, while the arrogant and cold guy wins the girl. However, the new wave of K-dramas have been boasting a different trend, and nice guys seem to be the new winners. Below are some nice and heart-swooning K-drama male leads of this season.

Nam Han Joon (Seo In Guk) – Cafe Minamdang

If you are into the handsome yet hilarious type of guys, then Nam Han Joon of “Cafe Minamdang”, played by actor Seo In Guk, would be the perfect choice for you. While this K-drama is just starting, this character is already cracking the audience up. 

In addition, Nam Han Joon’s interaction with the female lead Han Jae Hui has also been pretty fun. Though he looks like a trickster, Han Joon can be caring and sweet, as shown through the time he turns on the light for Jae Hui to get home safely. 

Seo Eun Pyung (Lee Sang Yeob) – Eve

The character of former lawyer Seo Eun Pyung, played by actor Lee Sang Yeob, is basically the only decent guy in revenge drama “Eve”. He’s intelligent, compassionate, and understanding, making for quite the boyfriend material. 

In addition, Seo Eun Pyung is deeply in love with the female lead Lee Ra El, to the point he’s ready to give up everything for her to be happy. It’s pretty nice to always have someone behind your back, especially when he’s as handsome as Seo Eun Pyung.

Gong Chan (Hwang In Yeop) – Why Her

Despite being the youngest guy on the list, Gong Chan of “Why Her”, played by Hwang In Yeop, is a pretty smooth character.  All the caring gestures and reassuring words he gave the female lead Oh Soo Jae can easily melt the toughest heart. 

In addition to assisting the female lead through her difficulties, he always believes in her even when the world is against her. Gong Chan really proves that age isn’t important in a relationship. 

Gong Soo Kwang (Na In Woo) – Jinxed At First

One of the most loved K-drama male leads at the moment is Gong Soo Kwang (Na In Woo) from the fantasy romance drama “Jinxed At First”. Gong Soo Kwang makes a living by selling fish at the market. He is known for his bad luck, so others always want to avoid him. The meeting with Seul Bi (Seohyun), a pretty girl with a special power, changes his life forever. Although he finds Seul Bi trouble some at first, he gradually develops feelings for her and becomes a boyfriend who is sweet, calm, and sincere. 

Lee Joon Ho (Kang Tae Oh) – Extraordinary Attorney Woo

Extraordinary Attorney Woo” only premiered last week but has generated much buzz. Besides the charming female lead Woo Young Woo played by Park Eun Bin, Kang Tae Oh’s character Lee Joon Ho has also made a good impression. Lee Joon Ho has already fallen for Woo Young Woo, as shown through the way he looks at her. Lee Joon Ho approaches Woo Young Woo in a subtle way without making her uncomfortable. The loveline between this couple is definitely worth looking forward to in the coming episodes of “Extraordinary Attorney Woo”.

Yoo Babi (Park Jin Young) – Yumi’s Cells 2

Through the role of Yoo Babi. Park Jin Young has stolen the hearts of many viewers with his dreamy boyfriend image since “Yumi’s Cells 2” started airing. Yoo Babi makes Yumi feel safe and comforted after all the heartbreaks that she went through in past relationships. When Yumi is with Babi, she can be herself without worrying about anything.
