On the latest update as of October 30th, G-Dragon engaged his attorney to submit a statement, vowing to rectify any false information pertaining to the allegations. What makes this situation even more intriguing is the unusual reaction from Korean media outlets.

Fans couldn’t help but notice that numerous articles related to G-Dragon’s alleged drug use mysteriously vanished from Naver News, right after his statement denying the allegations. The allegations against G-Dragon have yet to be conclusively resolved. Despite the ongoing investigations, G-Dragon has consistently denied the accusations and expressed his willingness to collaborate in the inquiry, which helped mitigate some of the public backlash.

Amidst all this, YG Entertainment’s actions have not gone unnoticed. In May of this year, YG announced the end of its exclusive contract with G-Dragon. However, it wasn’t until G-Dragon’s drug use allegations emerged on October 25th that the company officially distanced itself from him, confirming he is no longer a YG artist.

Curiously, YG still featured G-Dragon’s image on the latest posters for auditions in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, Vietnam. Moreover, the company’s official Instagram account is still following G-Dragon. This has left fans confused.
